10/4 NUMBER 1 grade is a high-grade product sorted for a combination of clear one face (C1F) and clear two face (C2F) Cuttings. Sound back rules apply to the (C1F) cuttings.

Widths: 4.5 inches minimum , admitting 5 percent (by volume) narrows.

Lengths: 6 foot minimum.

Minimum Size Cuttings: 3 inches by 3 feet or 4 inches by 2 feet. No Limit to the number of cuttings allowed.

Grade Notes: This grade admits all boards of 2 feet and over surface measure yielding not less than 66.66 percent clear two face cuttings.

Boards are graded from the poorer face.

SIDE BEND is limited to 1 inches.

PIN KNOTS are not considered defect.
